Paul is currently known for his personal photography work & mostly working around food.
Through a graphic approach and elaborately staged compositions, his personal work offers the viewer a different perspective on what we eat, utilising dramatic lighting, minimal sets and an unsaturated colour palette, what gives his images a very aesthetic appearance.
In the years he developed a signature style that you can describe as conceptual, painterly, images, often in square formats with sometimes floating objects.

STORY

Paul Tello is a Helsinki-based food photographer, a chef and a restaurateur, his interest in photography and art began at young age beside his passion for food. He followed this passion and first started with commercial & editorial food photography, in 2015 he also took the leap towards the artistic side of photography & started to experiment with conceptual food images in series.
